What are the best all-around high end bass combos and amps? Can you use the same amp for jazz, blues, rock and R&B? How about combos? |

i just got a euphonic audio iamp500, and a epifani ul 115 total weight 51 lbs. sounds great, you can also play keyboards or guitar through it.
www.eaamps.com
www.epifani.com
i bought both from vangelder music in orange county new york. $1600.00 for both items

just depends on eq settings and bass , mid. and treble master settings. the iamp 500 that i bought. instead of a eq EA calls it a tone shaping with a parametric eq. 4 sliders low,low-mid, high-mid, high. . move the slider to the freq you want more or less then turn the dial for that section up or down. then it has 4 presets. there's a bright, low, and then the 2 i like. the fat tube sound, and then the jacophiles they call it . that preset gives you that midrange growl. but i add alittle more low end to it and it nice sound. my friend joe has the same set up he plays mostly jazz standup an electric. then when he has nights of he plays with a local party band playing dance tunes on the electric. _________________ corky

My research is indicating that Aguilar and Eden both make fine equipment. Is anyone familiar with these brands? |
