The Purpose

"Swing Blues: The Doorway to Jazz" is one of the most popular courses in the LBM program. It provides an oasis of sorts for the aspiring jazz guitarist, concentrating less on the mental aspect of the music, and more on the "real world" tunes and practical tools necessary to achieve success. Check out some of the unparalled benefits and advantages:

By utilizing the essential swing blues format as a "doorway" for future jazz challenges, you'll quickly develop confidence and a command of both the critically important "blue side" of jazz, plus related swing, bebop, and latin compositions. The bottomline? It's fun and it works!
